Anatomy In Clay
SUN 2 PM | Sculpting the Shoulder with PJ Perry
Service Description
Are you a hands-on person and learning muscles and understanding them is hard from a book or picture? We will BUILD them out of clay and attach them to skeletons. The combination of tactile learning with problem solving of creation is a GREAT way to deepen understanding and have fun in a non-rote learning environment. We will build the rotator cuff musculature and SOME of the shoulder girdle, primarily the muscles most involved in moving the shoulder blade in scapulohumeral rhythm (think traps, rhomboids, serratus, pec minor, etc). No experience with anatomy at all required. This is a fun way to rest your body and activate your mind for the next time you are in the air.
